In Q2 2023, the top-down game category in Ireland saw varied performance across the leading applications. Here's a closer look at how the top five games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

MONOPOLY GO! from Scopely, Inc. saw its weekly revenue rise steadily, peaking at around $25.6K in the week of May 29. Downloads, however, showed a declining trend, starting from 11.3K in late March and dropping to approximately 4.1K by the end of June. Weekly active users also decreased from 23.9K in late March to 14.2K by the end of the quarter.

Block Blast！ by Hungry Studio had a consistent performance in weekly active users, maintaining around 23K to 24K throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a slight increase towards the end of Q2, reaching about 3.5K in the last week of June.

Wordscapes from PeopleFun, Inc. experienced a peak in downloads mid-May, reaching 3.2K. Revenue varied, peaking at $2.3K in early April and stabilizing around $1.4K by the end of June. Weekly active users saw a notable increase mid-quarter, jumping to 31.7K in mid-May from an initial 28.7K in late March.
